If you fancy switching up your usual snack options, why not try our low carb, high protein Whipped Feta and Herb Dip recipe? Smooth and nutty with a deliciously herby swirl, and goes perfectly with toasted bread or mixed cudité.

Serves 4


8 slices LivLife bread, toasted and cut into triangles

olives and mixed crudité to serve (radishes and celery are good keto choices) 


For the whipped feta:

200 g feta cheese

100 g crème fraiche

100 g Greek yoghurt

1 garlic clove, crushed

½ lemon, juiced and zest finely grated


For the herb + pistachio swirl:

20 g salted pistachio kernels, finely chopped

2 tbsp flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped

1 tbsp mint leaves, finely chopped

4 tbsp olive oil

½ lemon, juiced



  1. To make the whipped feta, put the feta, crème fraiche, yoghurt, garlic, lemon juice and lemon zest in a food processor and blend until smooth. Pass the mixture through a sieve for an extra smooth texture, or just serve it as it is.
  2. To make the herb swirl, stir all of the ingredients together and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. Spread the whipped feta onto a plate or shallow bowl and swirl the herb oil on top. 
  4. Serve with warm toast triangles and mixed crudité.
